As a photographer based in Calgary, Alberta, I'm fortunate to experience world-class locations with incredible photography opportunities all year round. Majestic mountains, fall colors, crystal lakes, wildflowers, rivers, badlands, big sky prairies, wildlife -- you name it, Alberta has it. If you're looking for a cracking good photo destination, look no further!

This land is large, however, and finding ideal locations at the right time can be daunting. Guiding small-group events, I apply my expertise as a photographer plus my knowledge of locations across the seasons to help each participant concentrate on having fun and building a satisfying portfolio of images. For those looking to improve their photography, I cover important hands-on topics on how to work with subject, composition and light plus techniques for shooting and processing.

Our first spring tour was a great photo experience. We are planning the next spring tour at Aurum Lodge for mid-May.
